(what are the rules on multi-posting here? I forgot)
I have a question:
would it be beneficial to both the alliance as a whole and my nation to run a resource farm and sell stuff? the reason behind this is that I have a farm town (Le-Koro), and I sold 5,000 food a while back. Im already getting back up there a bit, and my farm town isnt all that efficient, as it was originally built to keep my nation self sufficient (before I joined TKR), but I made a good sum of money off of it. that, combined with other resources and base income would be more than enough to allow me to keep a somewhat large military ready at all times.
the other major reason is simple: the academy (which unfortunately got pushed back a bit more) recommends that everybody simply buy food and other resources, but those have to come from somewhere, right? and wouldnt it be more beneficial to have money flowing from your alliance back to your alliance, instead of into independent nations or other alliance's nations? especially when it would also bring the benefit of a large(ish?) military to be ready at a moment's notice?
(just to note, I wouldnt have gouging prices, I actually sold the 5,000 for a bit less than the going price at the time, and it went within the first five minutes of posting the offer. also, on the flow of money, it would allow for money to flow into the alliance from outside nations.)
I guess let me know if I should go for it or finish the academy
