Thank you for your interest in joining The Knights Radiant!
I am Gobi and I will help you with this process.
We're honored that you are interested in joining our community, and looking forward to getting to know you!  Please answer the following standard questions below, thanks!

We require that you use the leader name in game as your name on the forum and on slack. Do you agree to do that? (Y/N)
We require the usage of Slack, a free chatting application available for both desktop and mobile, for all members. Will you be okay with this? (Y/N)
For military preparedness, TKR requires all of our members to maintain a warchest of resources required for war.  Are you ok with this? (Y/N)
Have you played any similar nation sim games before (example: cybernations, nationstates): (Y/N)   If yes, which alliances were you in, and for how long?
What made you pick TKR over other alliances?
How active will you be?

What time zone will you usually play the game in?

I agree to change my name on the forum to Charles XIV and will register on Slack under that.

I agree to register to Slack.

I agree to keep a war-chest that the TKR requires.

I've played NationStates, a bit of Cybernations and been on Politics and War prior to this nation a few years back. On NS, I am a long serving member of Europe, with over 2 billion citizens and an active member of the community. On Politics and War, I've been under Pantheon, Lordran and Cornerstone before deleting my nation.

I have never been a part of TKR; although during my prior time on Politics and War, I observed their activities and grown a liking to the alliance. If I had not quit Politics and War, TKR would've been my next destination.

Activity? Well, I think it's pretty clear I will be at home over the next few months so I have bunches of free time I can dedicate to here.

I am from the United Kingdom, meaning I am currently in BST (GMT+1), and in October I change to GMT+0.

Thank you for the hasty response.

Hello and welcome! Another Ukian! Great! 😀  Gobi has seemed to have had to leave, so I'll just carry on for the time being. I got a few more questions so we can get to know a bit more about you.

Explain in your own words, which kind of a nation you want to become, and what kind of help you expect from TKR in this:
What makes a good alliance and what makes a good member?
What can you bring into TKR? Why would we want to accept you?

  • Thanks 1

The type of nation I want to be is a stable one, willing to serve under TKR, defend myself and our allies and I expect as much help from TKR as they wish to grant me.

A good alliance is one that helps it's nations grow, fairly taxing them, and offering a protective bubble where an attack on one is an attack on all. A good member is one that will fight until the last and attempt to make the alliance a better place.

I can fill some holes by joining TKR. I wouldn't expect many Britons to be in TKR and I can fill that with my activity within the time zone. I am an experienced head both on her with a previous nation, and on NationStates, so I know my fair bit about nation simulators. I may not be the greatest technician or the most skillful player, but I am a good tactician that would be determined to help TKR and try, in how ever a small capacity, to make it an even better place.

Note: I think you'd have to change my forum name from Drasvidonia to Charles XIV.

You've been accepted into The Knights Radiant academy.
Please read the guides and take the entrance exam (The exam isn't difficult, it's more so meant to ensure that you know where the guides and other important information is within the alliance. It should take 10-15 minutes tops).
All information needed is provided in this subforum: http://www.knightsradiant.pw/forum/21-the-academy
You will have 72 hours to complete the exam.
