Previous Alliances and reasons for leaving: Atlantian Counsel. Reason for leaving: I left the alliance to declare war on other nations without the worry of having to drag in the alliance as I remember reading that alliances required approval before war and that declaring RAID wars was a viable way of gaining recourses.
Do you owe anything (money, resources, etc.) to anybody in the game?: No. No resources or currency are owed. However there is demand for money from aggressors.

Thank you for your interest in joining The Knights Radiant! I am Captain James T Kirk, and I will help you with this process. We're honored that you are interested in joining our community and are looking forward to getting to know you! But a few questions and clarifications first...

We do encourage our members to raid when they are still a new/small nation, but we do have guidelines for what's allowed. The details can be covered later on, but a general rule would be to not raid nations in an alliance without proper approval. So there are rules in TKR for who you can declare wars on. Are you okay with that?

I see you've been attacked recently. We usually can't do much about wars that happened before someone applied to us. If you have to finish that war on your own, will you want to stay with TKR?

I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you have any questions. We're here to help, so don't hesitate! Thanks!

ID CHECK COMPLETED

I am fine with rules, of course.

As for the war I am currently in, should the aggressor win yet I am able to recover, I would still be interested in joining an alliance. My nation will likely be able to recover but suffer for a short time which is durable. And for clarification, the nations I have declared on prior to this war have been against inactive members who lack an alliance.

Edit: Defeat does seem likely but that doesn't deter me

Sounds good then! Unaligned nations are no problem. Just wanted to make sure you were fine with some raid rules. Regarding recovery after the war, you will be okay 🙂 Even if they took everything (which they won't/can't) you'd still be okay!

Below I will post the normal questions we ask our applicants. Thanks for your input thus far!

We require that you use the leader name in game as your name on the forum and on slack. Do you agree to do that? (Y/N)
We require the usage of Slack, a free chatting application available for both desktop and mobile, for all members. Will you be okay with this? (Y/N)

For military preparedness, TKR requires all of our members to maintain a warchest of resources required for war.  Are you ok with this? (Y/N)
Have you ever played Politics and War or any similar nation sim games before (example: cybernations, nationstates): (Y/N)   If yes, which alliances were you in, and for how long?
What made you pick TKR over other alliances?
How active will you be?

What time zone will you usually play the game in?

The biggest value in joining an alliance like TKR is the community. While you wait please feel free to look around on Sparring Grounds or join our Discord and say hi. Feel free to request the TKR Applicant role from @Oathkeeper on Discord

Of course, I will just need to set up an account for Slack.

I will be able to maintain a set amount of resources, yes.

I have not played any other nation simulators before, nor have I played P&W in the past. This is a new account

What made you pick TKR over other alliances?

I wandered about the ALLIANCE tab and found TKR was at the top of the list. I figured it would be good to join a strong and durable alliance considering, as a newer nation, I will struggle against larger aggressors.

How active will you be?

Due to Covid-19 and being under quarantine, I will be nearly active all day. However due to a shift in sleep schedules I will be, most often, available between the times of 11:00 AM - 2:00 AM

What time zone will you usually play the game in?

I am currently playing in MST zone

Sounds good, thank you. Just a few more questions.

In your own words:

What kind of nation do you want to become, and what kind of help do you expect from TKR in this?

What makes a good alliance, and what makes a good member?

What can you bring into TKR that would encourage us to have you join our ranks?

I want to be able to keep my nation balanced between clean and polluted, I do this by seeing the offers for the TRADE tab as well as seeing how I can increase my resource income. The help I would hope to have would be protection from larger threats who are able to devastate my nation and steal valuable resources.

What makes a good alliance, and what makes a good member?

A good alliance stems from having trust in one another as well as mutual views. Members should be able to meet the requests and commands of the others/higher ups of the alliance as well as be ready to help defend and attack those that oppose/support our members.

What can you bring into TKR that would encourage us to have you join our ranks?
I am regularly checking in on my nation as well as using whatever action I can while in war to further achieve victory. I am also friendly, although a bit awkward, and caring of the well being of my peers after I have gotten to know them. In terms of a nation, i'm quick to take advantage of the money I have banked and know when I need to stop or if something will hurt my economy.
