Reichsadler
Yes to all except if I have played another sim like this. This is the first time play a game like this. I joined TKR since it was the one that seemed to align more with my interest of building a strong kingdom through strong loyal alliances and community to protect and achieve the common good. I’m in the eastern time zone and will be most active in the evening during weekdays and throughout the day on weekends.

As I'm sure you are aware, the name has some negative connotations and connections with Nazi Imagery. We've already had some express their concerns. To that end, we're not denying your application at this time, but we are requesting that you change your nation name/ruler name if you wish to proceed with this application. We would feel better if you had a different name. Just let us know.
 Awards
Reichsadler
Interesting... It sounds like whomever has that concern may need to educate themselves before coming across so ignorant. There is no association with Nazi Germany and a quick review of western civilization history should confirm that. The eagle with a crown is my family coat of arms.... Reichsadler. My family crest is much older than the Nazi and it does not bare any swastika. The Nazi did use an eagle on their emblem, however, theirs does not have a crown. And for the record the eagle has been part of Germany since the Romans and it actually still is to this day in the German emblem. My last name (Reichsadler) is not very common and there’s absolutely no connection with the Nazi. Is it the “Reich” in the last name that is a concern? There are other last names with that in it, for example the more common last name of Reichmann. The second part of my last name “Adler” means eagle in German, which is also a fairly common last name. I hope this dispels any ignorance, and in all honesty that is the first time anyone has had any concerns with my last name either in school or professionally. Let me know how you would like to proceed?

Let me know how you would like to proceed? I would encourage you to google Reichsadler. From the wikipedia article on the term reichsadler: The Reichsadler ("Imperial Eagle") is the heraldic eagle, derived from the Roman eagle standard, used by the Holy Roman Emperors and in modern coats of arms of Germany, including those of the Second German Empire (1871–1918), the Weimar Republic (1919–1933) and the Third Reich (Nazi Germany, 1933–1945). The majority of the images that arrive in a simple google search are also filled with Nazi-Imagery. We're not accusing you of anything malicious or of ill-intent, but we've decided to deny this application at this time and we wish you luck in your search for your Orbis home. Application Denied.
 Awards
