    @Ataksak

You've been accepted into The Knights Radiant academy.
Please read the guides and take the entrance exam in Steps 1-3. The exam isn't difficult, it's more so meant to ensure that you know where the guides and other important information is within the alliance. It should take 10-15 minutes tops. You will find the exam in the end of each step.
All information needed is provided in this subforum:
    http://www.knightsradiant.pw/forum/21-the-academy
You will have 72 hours to complete the exams.

    Well written friend.

We are currently in a war with many other alliances, are you willing to fight for us and give your best? We are on the losing side and will be taking a lot of damage. Sometimes it will happen that you will be attacked and likely to lose and no help would be available due to the current condition. Do you agree to fight for us and contribute at any cost? (we do rebuild our members post war, and provide free aid for wars whenever necessary.)

    Sure.

That's great! But I do have few more questions. Just few more questions and we're done! Let's get to know a bit more about you.

•What would you do if TKR would ask you to do something which you do not want to do? (We never ask people to break the game rules). Explain.

•What are your expectations for TKR?

•Explain in your own words, which kind of a nation you want to become, and what kind of help you expect from TKR in this:

•What can you bring into TKR? Why would we want to accept you?

•What makes a good alliance and what makes a good member?

•What would you do if TKR would ask you to do something which you do not want to do? (We never ask people to break the game rules). Explain.

It depends on what exactly the “thing” is — I have never been in a formal alliance before, so it’s hard to imagine. For example, if TKR asks me to attack a country, which I don’t want to do, I will still do it cuz I believe it may ultimately benefit the whole community (otherwise I won’t receive this request). I think as long as a justified reason is given, I will still be very likely to do it.

•What are your expectations for TKR?

I hope I can feel a sense of belonging in TKR, such as discussing what we are going to do on the platform and similar things like that. I also expect TKR to give my nation a certain degree of protection; meanwhile, I can also have the chance to contribute to the alliance by e.g. participating in counterattacking (?) as long as my nation is strong enough to damage the invader

•Explain in your own words, which kind of a nation you want to become, and what kind of help you expect from TKR in this:

Before I applied to TKR, the way I operated my nation was making money mainly by selling aluminum & steel (currently I produce about 1000 of both of them every day) while raiding inactive countries for raw materials like bauxite and iron. I also maintained a relatively huge army to minimize the chance of getting attacked. I think I’m a national leader who likes to focus on achieving economic growth and building cities & projects, a goal that is frequently interrupted by raiders cuz rebuilding is super expensive. I think the kind of help I expect is protection such as counterattacks or assistance for reconstruction.

•What can you bring into TKR? Why would we want to accept you?

I have a relatively strong army — about 1/4 of my nation's score is earned from the military part (now my army is not at its normal size though, cuz yesterday a stronger country attacked me, which damaged my tanks). Therefore, I can help to participate in counterattacks if smaller countries in TKR are getting raided. The economic growth of my nation is also stable as the resource production enables me to have a stable daily income. Normally, I stock a lot of military resources that can help me to survive blockades (not now though, cuz I’m being attacked, but I will purchase more gasoline and munitions later). To be honest, I don’t know much about the functioning of an alliance, but I will try my best to contribute to the TKR community.

•What makes a good alliance and what makes a good member?

I think a good alliance-member relationship is marked by mutual respect and assistance. In a good alliance, all members respect each other and help each other out in case of an attack or crisis; a good member is therefore one who tries their best to follow the alliance’s requests, utilizes their strengths (such as strong army or the abundance of resources), and contributes to the community.

Sorry, my English is not very good and I hope what I wrote makes sense.

  4. •    We require that you use the leader name in game as your name on the forum and on slack. Do you agree to do that? Yes
    •    We require the usage of Slack, a free chatting application available for both desktop and mobile, for all members. Will you be okay with this? Yes
    •    For military preparedness, TKR requires all of our members to maintain a warchest of resources required for war.  Are you ok with this? Yes
    •    If TKR asks you to go to war where your nation may take heavy damages, would you do it? Yes
    •    If you are accepted to the alliance you understand that we expect you to check in with your mentor weekly as a minimum and engage in conversations in slack, failing to do so can lead to your removal from the alliance. Do you agree? (Y/N) Yes
    •    Have you played any similar nation sim games before (example: cybernations, nationstates): (Y/N)   If yes, which alliances were you in, and for how long?

Yes, I’m also playing Nationstates and my nation is belong to a Region (similar to Alliance in pnw) called Arctic.
    •    What made you pick TKR over other alliances?

I have visited TKR’s forum before, and I can feel a strong sense of community here. I really hope that I can join an alliance in which I can mutually cooperate with other member nations, contributing to the community, and have a sense of belonging. Additionally, given I can’t use Discord, TKR becomes the only alliance that enables me to contact with other with its Slack & forum-based communication platform.
    •    How active will you be? I play pnw every day (at least once every two days when im busy)
    •    What time zone will you usually play the game in? I live in GMT+8 (Hong Kong, Russia Far East, Taiwan, part of Indonesia, Mongolia, among others)

The biggest value an alliance like TKR offers is the community. While you wait please feel free to look around on Sparring Grounds or join our Discord and say hi. Feel free to request the TKR Applicant role from @Oathkeeper on Discord.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to hearing back from you soon!
