I feel like there's a lot of things I could have posted to these forums that I just end up posting in slack.

I make this post knowing full well that this post here will not win this thread game, nor even come close to it. But is that really truly important? Is the destination always more important than the journey itself? Is not every drop of water in a river as important as the last? Would climbing Mt. Everest be special if you could just zoom right to the end? When eating steak, one is bound to take a last bite of it, but Is the last bite of a steak the best? or was it the first?

One could also just as easily ask, what does it mean to be the last person to post. Is time not proven by the discoveries of physics to be just an illusion where all of reality has already happened and we are simply passing through what is already there. What if most of reality is actually traveling backwards in time? and only some strange and exotic particles are actually moving forward through time. What if the big bang is actually the beginning and the end of the universe? What if the movie the Neverending Story never truly ended.  These are but some of the myriad questions one needs to ask themselves, because what importance is the answer if you don't know all the true parameters of the question?
