  2. Interesting predictions, there's a lot of speculation about how the new look pacers line up is going to work together w/ the addition of Thaddeus Young. And personally I think you've underrated the hawks hugely, They still have multiple year all-star Paul MIlsap such that I think the loss of Hordford will not hurt them much especially when you think about the lack of chemistry between the two anyway. I'm sorry but the greek freak isn't going to taken a sub 35 win team to the number 5 seed even more so now that Khris MIddleton, there leading scorer is out for six months with a hamstring injury. I'd be genuinely surprised if the pistons missed the playoff and i'm not sure about the bulls chemistry with three good players who unfortunately play best with the ball in their hands. If it's any consolation the nets and sixers are in the perfect spot:P

In the west I think you've been extremely harsh on the Jazz, widely considered to have the best young roster in the league, I like the idea of the Twolves making the playoffs but 5th would be a hard ask Blazer have more talent then the Grizzlies, it's just whether or not their a better team, I expect them to contend for the 3,4 position like last season. I'm going to ignore the Lakers joke. Rockets have added good shooters in Anderson and Gordon they're better off without out howard tbh so they'll be a top 6 team, I'll stretch to say better than the thunder. I might post my own W/L predictions later.

  3. I would definitely say that Lebron is not in his prime. That's not to say he can still be a great player for his team but just by looking back at his mpg we can see that his minutes have been steadily decreasing since the 2010-11 season when at age 27 I would say in his prime. As for title contenders you'll have to back the warriors as the top seed in the west, the spur are a shoe in for another 63+ win season and I would say that if the clippers can avoid another train crash they'll be the number 3 seed and probably close if not a 60 win team. In the east the Cavs will likely be better than last season especially with their core being pretty accustomed to each other by now I would say they will be a 60 win team if Kevin Love decided to turn up this season that milestone would be comfortable. Either way I doubt the Cavs would get past 65 wins and considering Irvings reputation for inconsistency during the regular season t's hard to imagine them winning more than that. As for he competition in the East the Celtics and Raps will definitely be up there, if the C's manged to trade for a star (unlikely but you rule out boogie being traded) they would definitely be in a strong position to contend for the top spot in the east. My opinion the celtics have a good chance at snagging D.cousins with all the spare picks which Sacramento should try and obtain. But naturally with Sacramento nobody know's what's going on in their front office. Factor in that Cousins doesn't want to leave Sacramento and other teams having a go this is still an outside chance of occurring. I'm picking a mid-50 win total for both teams. Past that in the east I can't see anything shocking happening. As for the final's i'm not saying jack save for the fact that one of the teams listed above will win it, in a series of seven game's only it's impossible to predict what will happen on the day and of course any number of injuries which occur between then and now will undoubtedly have an effect on a team's performance. If i had to say I'll predict the conference finals, Celtics and Cavs in the east and Warriors and Clippers in the west. Clippers might seem like a long shot but DJ is one of the most tipped for first time all-star along with a top 3 PG in Chris Paul and one of the most athletic finishers in the league in Blake Griffin (who's also added a 3pt shot to his game in his time off) setting aside injury I feel confident in the clips making their first conference finals in their history. The finals themselves i'm not going to call.

Well that's my rant for the preseason.... yep that's it

  5. it would be funny (a non american) to see Donald trump be president. As a smaller nation in New Zealand I believe trade must be of the utmost importance the economic crisis caused when Trump becomes president will help the Kiwi's take over the world.
