Cold weather really opens up the wardrobe
It is really nice to be able to put them to use instead of collecting them and having to decide which two I get to wear during our two day "winter"

I think where I live now is about as cold as I'm willing to get I do like cooler/colder weather though as I have an obsession with boots and jackets.

Yes, conversions are far simpler in metric (and we do learn and use it in school and science) but for everyday life,, we grew up with imperial and we "speak" imperial. We know about how far a meter is because it's close in distance to a yard but the rest, we don't have much of a frame of reference for.
Also, for temperature, you'll never convince me Celsius is better. It's not the same as the rest of metric, is essentially just as arbitrary as Fahrenheit but with less precision, and at least with Fahrenheit, hot temperatures actually sound hot and vice versa. "B-b-but 0 and 100 are based on water" is not a valid argument.

I got into listening to podcasts while going on 1-2 hour walks most days during the pandemic and love it. I recently tried listening to a history audiobook and plan to do more of it in the future, I'm not sure how it will work for fantasy but we will see.
I've been pleasantly surprised by audiobooks ngl. I really and truly thought I would hate them and that'd they'd just be like a recitation of the book but they're pretty well done and do a good job of bringing the world alive and making it more interesting than just reciting the book.

Nothing beats a paper book but ebooks and audio books are dead convenient and I would rather read in any form than not at all.

putting and removing it sounds difficult to do tho. also if i had one, most likely ill forget to take them out before showering/sleeping or forget to put them in the said case.
It's not difficult at all once you get used to it. It is a struggle initially though, before your eyes get used to having something touching them. Doesn't take even a minute once you do though and putting them in/taking them out and putting them in a case really isn't any different than the routine you have with your glasses. You can shower with them in too lol. No need to take them out for that.

im really lazy so i prefer glasses, put it on and put it off then done, no need to do all those stuff needed to wear and maintain those contacts
It's really not that much stuff though? Not any more than you already do for glasses. You just put them in at the start of the day and, if you're a responsible human, take them out at the end of the day and put them in the carry case with solution overnight. If you're less responsible like I was, you leave them in for a few days and then take them out. Don't do that though. Be responsible.

I know it's not technically fall until the 22nd, but I tend to consider all of September fall. September/October/November = fall, December/January/February = winter, March/April/May = Spring, June/July/August = summer.

If anything, it's a stew but it's not a soup. Too thick to be a soup.

It's an ice cream bar with a fruit-flavored exterior (traditionally orange but others as well). Also see: fudgesicle.

Pancakes are easier to make but I like the crunchiness of waffles. Plus they have special little pockets for holding syrup, which is pretty cool.
