  1. My favourite characters from the series are bit off I guess. I loved Eshonai. Everything about her character was just interesting. Especially her pulling out of storm form and her morality. I love the way he writes Kaladin's chapters and he's an amazing character I'd love to look up too, but I identify the most with Navani/Jasnah heh. That being said, Jasnah being strong af to the outside world yet having her own issues/insecurities that he keeps alluding too or suggesting through out makes me curious to see how he really takes her forward.

I don't blame you prioritizing Kingkiller; it's beautifully written.  Say, have you encountered the Gentlemen Bastards series?

I'm glad to have gotten Lordship into the Kingkiller chronicles. Also the Gentleman Bastards series was great, though the third book was a bit meh. The Lies of Locke Lamora was crazy great though.

Also yeah, while I'm interested in the Cosmere, I cannot be able to handle the awfulness of Sanderson and writing female characters from the origin trilogy. Thats the biggest reason I'm skeptical of the new series lol.

Honor is dead, but I’ll see what I can do.

Thats such an important easter egg tbh. One of the greatest lines revealing whats to come. I just wish though there was more about Kaladin and Laral tbh. I really loved that story :(

  4. Hey I heard that one! :D Its great hahaha.

Funnily enough my friend from Turin is visiting this weekend. Going to be listening to more Italian music thanks to him.

Both are sequels so you have to watch the others first

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2006) then Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu 2 (2009) and then Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu (2010) that is a movie

Full Metal Panic! (2002) not made by KyoAni, then Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (2003) that is a side story, and then Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid (2005), and in 3 days Full Metal Panic Invisible Victory will starts (not made by KyoAni)

    Alright :D

I have the photos of it and videos of Scachi singing their songs lol. Great sport/great country. Heading to Lazio in May hopefully and then Verona/Trento later in August.

This is a """""sport""""" but since this year edition just finished I will talk about it because there's actual competition

The Battaglia delle arance (battle of oranges) of Ivrea

Yes, another thing of my region, I am an undercover tour operator? Maybe

It takes place during the carnival and has origins in the Middle Ages, there are teams representing the various districts of the city, some parade in the streets on horse-drawn carts while others await the carts in the areas assigned to them

And then? Then they hit the enemies with oranges!

Don't worry, since Italy haa a huge production of oranges there are many oranges not considered suitable for production that would therefore be destroyed anyway, yep, they throw mostly rotten oranges

Where's the competition? Well, every year there's a team who wins on the carts and one team who wins on the ground, and are the participants who vote for the winners, who has hurt you most? They are the winners!

And if you just want to watch and you don't want to get hurt there's a simple way to avoid the oranges, they don't target people with a red hat

Been there, the team I joined kind of won this year :P It was epic. Especially Fat Thursday, now thats a great fucking party hosted by all the teams once the General is announced. Followed by the Mugnaia being announced! Man I have the video of that somewhere, I'll post it at some point. I did a blog post on the NPO forums about I think!. Definitely turning up for the battle next year again! For the Diavoli of course :D

Violet Evergarden 5.5/10, awesome KyoAni quality animation and chara design wasted on a bad story with forced drama

Gotta agree with that tbh. Expected so much more :(

  12. In Germany, where I currently live, my Hausmeister subscribes to Weser Kurier ( the local city paper ) and the Kurier am Sonntag ( the Sunday hyperlocal special for each of the city boroughs ). I read it quite a bit to improve my german and in general read the sports news seeing how the team I support is Werder, so its useful. In India, my parents subscribed to The Hindu, The Times of India and the Deccan Chronicle, the three most common English dailies heh. So we spend quite a bit a year getting news.

I have access to the Indian papers in both digital and print form but always preferred print. While most of my news comes from online sources, theres nothing like a coffee with the papers every morning at the dining table heh.

I have online subscriptions for NYT/Washington Post/ Politico Pro and have access to the Economist/Atlantic/New Yorker subscriptions through friends (even if they are magazines heh). Also have a couple of sports magazines that I subscribe too here in Germany, but mostly to learn German lol.

Depends. If it were regarding economics, I would have no issue. Social policies on the other hand, I think would be an absolute breaker.

I mean how much wiggle room could you give fiscally> She and I ended up fighting over EU's fiscal policy with Greece because its also social policy at some level :P
