  1. This is quite a tricky one for me. On one side, I think it was right for the US to get involved in Vietnam because just like the Korean War, we could've transformed Vietnam into a country with a strong economy just like South Korea today. Instead, North Vietnam won and similar to North Korea, had a struggling economy.

However, I also think that it was wrong for the US to conscript Americans out of their will and send them to combat to fight a foreign war that the US wanted to win. Keep focus on the conscription part. Not to mention that those Americans who made it back home would suffer PTSD just because of a war no one really asked the US to get involved in. So I'm leaning a bit towards other, or undecided.

  2. Another expansion to the Justified series. This time, it's about the US' decision to enter the Vietnam War. Some say it was a good idea for the US to enter the Vietnam War because it would help stop the spread of communism throughout Asia while others argue that you're just sending conscripted Americans into a foreign jungle just because it was in the matter of American interests. What da yah think?

  3. Currently in my senior year, I'm part of the cross country (track) team for my school. Every other Tuesday, we meet up against other schools in the county and see who has the best cross country team. So far, we are doing preferably well. My team is currently sitting at 3rd place... the only twist is that there are only four teams competing :P . I sometimes play basketball when I have nothing else to play, played a lot of tennis during the summer cause why not, and sometimes play soccer (football). I try too hard when I play soccer though, but hey, at least I'm a gutsy defender (I nutmeg myself only once okay).

  4. A hot topic we have here in the US. This time, it's about minimum wage laws. Most Democrats want it higher, most Republicans want it lower (or sometimes let the companies decide). What do you think?

Anyone who'd say no is so anti-human I don't know why they even live instead of jumping on a compost pile and strangling themselves with some hemp rope. Of all the ways that animals are hurt as a result of human activity, people go after research?

lol how ironic that those who are against animal testing are living off of the benefits that modern medicine has made.

  6. Was just thinking if we could keep count of how many members there are in TKR. Why? I want to show trends of how many members there are in TKR and possibly look back at how many members we had in the past. Basically, the whole point is to see how much the alliance has grown over the many weeks.

It's quite simple. Every Saturday (in the US), I post how many members there are along with how much it has change last week. Every time a new season kicks in (like summer, autumn, etc.), I post a graph displaying the overall change of total members in the alliance.

For an example, here is the format for today:

    Total members: 113

Change: No date (because this is the first one)

Remember, the whole point of this thread is to keep track as to how much the alliance has grown over time.

  7. Last night, there appeared to be a terrorist attack in Paris. 1 officer was killed, 2 officers wounded, and (I think) 1 other civilian dead. This attack happened just right before the French National Election happened and could have a dramatic effect on the election. What do you guys think about this attack? Do you guys think that this'll be enough to elect Le Pen as President of France?

  8. For me, it would be no. Germany didn't even get a say in how the treaty would be. Not to mention that Germany wasn't totally responsible for the war. What Germany was doing was respecting a defensive treaty they had with Austria-Hungary. Also, paying large war reparations, demilitarizing by a lot, and giving up a lot of land at the same time is just too brutal. Not to mention that this would help in the rise of Hitler and the rise of nationalism in Germany as the Germans would become angry (along with the help of the Great Depression).

Used to have shrimp but they died so now the tank is just snails...

Sorry to hear about what happened to your pet shrimp. I used to have a gold fish but it drowned. :(

    Spoiler

By drowned, I mean the water became dirty and my fish suffocated because someone forgot to clean the fish bowl.

    2. War is ONLY between the United States against Russia and China

    3. I'll grant the United States access to their foreign military bases
