  1. Who can really tell. We could assume that maybe by the end of next year, those of us in Western countries may largely go back to normal. Unless people refuse to get boostered eventually which would become a problem potentially (nevermind those that don't get vaccinated in the first place). We're also not helping poorer countries much and for those, it will obviously be a longer lasting problem. We're also completely hoarding the vaccines in the West so maybe we will have an actually very serious variant six months or a year from now that the vaccines can't deal with. With our lack of solidarity for other people in our own country and for less fortunate countries, we're certainly not contributing to a quick end to the pandemic. So maybe by the end of next year where we live. Maybe 2-3 years? Maybe longer. I'm just glad my country is planning to introduce mandatory vaccines.

  2. I am generally opposed to it but can't say I've never done it. That is especially the case when it comes to things that I would like to have - and pay for - but that is not available in Germany or Europe. Which is the case a lot of times when it comes to shows and the like from Japan.
