I mean, if I went around, flexing my calves and saying I was an emperor, they'd put me away. I propose that we become an autonomous collective, or an anarcho-syndicalist commune.

I went over to someone else's house recently for a family event and they were talking about this great scandal where Trump had been caught using a neo-nazi symbol, Pepe the frog. I had to make an excuse and run outside so I wouldn't die laughing. Pepe is definitely a contender this year.

Dat boi deserved to win. He was the first big meta commentary on the state of modern memes. He was, in my opinion, the most bold and daring evolution of the art. Every intentionally bad meme afterwards feels like a pale copy. Harambe was pretty great too but it came afterwards.

Also, why wasn't there a Pepe option? 

I feel like I'm crazy for feeling nothing when I watch the new Star Wars stuff. It's just a worse rehash of things that have already been done. I'm compelled to see it sooner or later because it's Star Wars, but there were only about 10 minutes in TFA that I really liked.

At least there's a good chance they'll make some good ones eventually since they're cranking so many out. Maybe the odd numbered ones will have decent characters in them.

I don't know if we have enough people who own it or are willing to spend $40 right now.

We could all get a pirate copy (it's less than 2GB, can download it from a mega link, no installation needed), and then get together on something like Tuungle or Evolve, and play that way. 

The same people who complain about gentrification will often complain about white flight when it suits them. 

The economy changes all the time. It's usually a net positive, but some people are always on the losing end. They stuff they have is suddenly worth less, or the stuff they want is suddenly worth more. If we caved into all complaints, the economy would grind to a halt. I can accept some kind of temporary help to the people on the losing end, but not some permanent, horrendously inefficient protectionism. That's basically what I think on this issue and a million more like it.

VIP is worth getting once because you can permanently set the cover image and military images.

Credits go for really cheap in this game. If I could trade a few million P&W dongs for $5 IRL I would steal the alliance bank, sell it for a couple thousand dollars, and quit.

It's also the way I can open up slack and see 50 people online talking about gay sex and how hot their sisters are. It's the wide eyes and bead of sweat running down the forehead of a Fark member when he sees us militarize. It's the way Rose gov hangs their head when we sign another treaty with Syndisphere and talk about how much we enjoy the state of this game. The way VE nations blush when we ask if they had fun on their vacations. The way small mobs of little NPO nations follow me around hoping some money falls out of my pocket. The way threads fall silent when we post about how invincible we are in the OWF. Triumph. Every bit of it, triumph. That's what it means to be in TKR.

Empire Earth was one of the few games I had as a kid, I spent a ridiculous amount of time playing it. I went back a few years ago and beat all the campaigns again, which I think were pretty good. I like all the history it has in it. Empire Earth 2 sucked.

If we use these for anything, we could definitely crop out long/bad intros and reupload them first.

We all love the TKR anthem, it's the greatest anthem in the game, but what about alternate versions of it?

I don't know a lot about UK-EU politics, but the main debate seemed like a value judgement of whether the trade benefits are worth giving up some sovereignty on other issues. The answer depends on a lot on very unpredictable future events, as well as the value people put on independence, so I can't dismiss either side as simply wrong or selfish.

Apparently it's unacceptable to throw out an economic union for trivial reasons like populist resentment. Just crazy and unacceptable.
But flushing basic principles of democracy down the toilet for the sake of that economic union? Perfectly reasonable. Do-over votes, retroactively changing the margin required for victory, those things will lead to stability. Are you nuts?

Even the anti-Brexit politicians immediately denied the possibility of the second referendum because they know what a ridiculous precedent that would be.
