  2. Governor Gary Johnson for President.

More executive experience than either two-party candidate. The only candidate who could even come close to bipartisanship.

Tax plan needs some tweaking for sure but as he say, he's not being elected dictator and all of his plans have to be approved by Congress.

  3. I know a good deal about real wrestling. I refuse to recognize WWF/WWE as real "wrestling" or anything other than absolutely fantastic acting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to deny those people are dedicated athletes and body builders and really great performers but Merriam-Webster defines wrestling as:

    Quote

a sport in which two people try to throw, force, or pin each other to the ground

and there is just no sport that involves three guys smashing their gym buddy with a chair or tossing him onto a table.

If I offended anyone well... sorry, not sorry (I think that is something teenagers say, not sure)

Anyway congrats, I have just passed the 100 days, 700 days are a lot.

Yes, there was a WWF themed alliance in P&W for a while. It was an offshoot of a Cybernations alliance that had something to do with Mario or Mushrooms or something. All I remember is that the alliance forums were shared with the CN alliance forums and the interface was so hard to navigate I was basically never active on the forums. It separated due to inactivity and then I signed on with IC and we marched over here

  5. I think it should be pursued but I am a terrible pessimist, not sorry about that either.  They just give too much of an edge defensively from what I have seen. No matter what the treaty says no one is going to disarm at all.

People may agree not to use them except for defense, that's possible. But still wouldn't do too much to help as Orbis is slowly maxing out nukes

Hi *breathes heavily into the phone*

I'm from Raleigh, NC almost 19 and it feels strange

  7. yeah, I was on here a lot during the early part of the summer but I took summer college classes and now regular fall classes are keeping me busy. When I used to check P&W, I now power nap n the computer labs.

  8. IT has been 700 days since I started playing P&W and almost as much with tKR. I rolled over here with IC from WWF and  since then I've had a great time rolling with you all and being part of this community.

Keep the changes and new faces coming and we can grow to be the lovable, kind, and gracious power in P&W that NPO is in Cybernations.

You could attribute that to the British and/or French though and not the Ottomans. All the Ottoman Empire did was exist, hardly something they can be blamed for doing, it was the British and French that targeted it and brought about the result from Sykes-Picot. If the Middle East hadn't been under the unified rule of the Ottomans, I think the Middle East would simply present itself as an easier and equally juicy target. The resources wouldn't go anywhere and if the Middle East was split into smaller nations they'd just be easier to dominate for European colonial powers.

I was just coming up with a reason not to put France or United Kingdom, honestly. However, I did enjoy reading your reply. All of that is very true.

  10. ottomans, because if the middle east had never been held under one banner then the Europeans may never have ran in there so damn hard, craved up tribal and natural ethnic groups, and left us with the post-Sykes-Picot Agreement bullshit we have today. So, ottomans, because they put a target on their backs (for the French and British to shoot at)

If we use these for anything, we could definitely crop out long/bad intros and reupload them first.

    My New rankings:

    1. #14 just sounds amazing

    2: #16

    3. #17

    4: #2

    5: #12

    6. #13

    7: #7

  12. #1 - Arany Zoltan

    #2 - Alavia I like it

#3 - Annwn is amazingly beautiful but too soft for TKR

#4 - Corvus Corax What was that garbage?

#5 - Datura too soft. I literally did not even know when the song had started and had to rewind

#6 - Des Teufels Lockvögel alright. I don't think it's as good as the one we have or #2 but it's alright

#7 - Die Streuner somewhere between #2 and #6. pretty good but I still like #2 more than this one

#8 - Eisenfunk the version of the TKR anthem sung at the half-time game of TKR football games. I can see the flares, spotlights and the vibrating stands now... I would suppport this as the anthem, just maybe a little too party-like

#9 - Finisterra absolutely nothing special to add to the debate. dismissed.

#10 - Gilead Good sound, I love the drums, but not anthem worthy.

#11 - Heimataerde TKR anthem played in the nightclubs and on the wild topless beaches

#12 - In Extremo (1) pretty good. the heavy beat is impressive and intimidating. a tie between this one and #2 for me so far

#13 - In Extremo (2)  THAT INTRO! AMAZING! The words I think aren't as good as #12 but the intro makes up for it. Now a tie between 2, 12, and 13 with #7 trailing

#14 - Medieval II: Total War Probably the best one up here so far. the woman that takes over for a verse or so is kind of a turnoff. the song as a whole sounds very good and anthem-y

    #15 - Ougenweide No.

#16 - Qntal I don't know what that crappy intro was. If we could cut that out, this is definitely TKR anthem material. great voice and accompaniment

#17 - Saltatio Mortis Tied with or beating #2,12, and 13, #7 still there but ehh. Tied with #16 as it is now but if #16 loses the garbage intro, this is in second place

#18 - Wolfmare Intro was rough and I dont think this is very good compared to some of the others. It isn't the worst by far but it's not great by any means.

    My rankings:

    1. #14 just sounds amazing

2: #16 and #17 (16 with the win if her intro is dropped. Otherwise a tie)

4: #2 (just for the traditional anthem sound)

5: #12 and 13 (tied because they're both great in different areas. 12 has an edge on the overall sound and anthem-like personality albeit rough sounding. 13 takes it if we're talking about getting people to listen because 13 has a great intro.)

7: #7 another descent-sounding, traditional anthem-like song. Still pretty good, in my opinion.

  13. I don't have bad opinions of a lot of these really.

BK and t$ would definitely be at the top of the list. I chose BK but I am also very interested in NPO. I have never really interacted with them other than them being butthurt a couple wars ago. BK has made a very good impression but NPO seems like a very different pace and style that I would like to try on for size if tKR ever just disbands. But still, probably just BK because NPO does still creep me out a little... ok, I'll admit, I'm kind of torn... How about we just don't let tKR die? How's that? I like that plan. Good plan. Keep that plan.

  14. I feel like Trump is at least more transparent than Clinton. We know he is a flip-flopper, that he is flexible on everything except his ridiculous wall, and that he is a loud-mouthed businessman that lashes out with shots below the belt just as if he were in a cut-throat negotiation for his business. Clinton is just too engrained in the system for my tastes. Sanders knew it, voters know it, and I know it: she doesn't mean a lot of what she says. She is just playing the game like good ol' politicians and establishment people do. And that is where I find respect for Trump, he isn't rooted in the oligarchy of the party politics going back more than two decades. I just could never trust Clinton because I know she has been planning for this chance for 12 years and it scares the Hell out of me to wonder what plans and papers she will whip out of her desk during her first 100 days.

If I had to pick one of the two, I would vote Trump because at least he is malleable. He could potentially be able to work with both major parties in Congress, something that will never happen if Clinton is elected.

But I don't have to pick one of the two, I am voting for the Libertarian party which could make a big difference this year.

Gary Johnson and Bill Weld for the White House in 2016!

  15. I went and did this on Mr. Trump's poll so I will come back and do it here as well. Who knows, maybe my original vote may be wrong.  All categories are 1-5, 1 being not present and 5 being very apparent. Everyone, please feel free to critique. I am trying to be as objective as possible and I think I'm in a good position to do so as I do not support democrats or republicans.

    Gryffindor

    • Brave: 3
      •  Neutral here, running for the Presidency does take some bravery though
    • Sometimes Impulsive: 1
      •  Everything she does is scripted and carefully planned by the political machine that is the Democratic party
    • Adventurous: 2
      •  She is running for president and served as Secretary of State but I wouldn't call those "adventurous"
    • Honourable/Loyal to all: 3
      • The email scandal kind of turns the knob down on this one a bit, in my opinion

    Hufflepuff

    • Hard-Work: 5
      •  Whether you agree with her or not, her time as Sec. of State and now this campaign are not easy
    • Dedication: 5
      •   Again, servant to the nation at several levels and they haven't been easy jobs
    • Fair-Player: 4
      •  She's in politics, we all know she plays hard-ball from time to time. It comes with the territory
    • Value others' feelings: 3
      •  I feel as though her targetting of minorities for this election is simply a ruse. I don't feel as though she is as passionate about these minority groups' rights as she says she is and Sander's felt the same way.

    Ravenclaw

    • Cunning: 5
      • "having or showing skill in achieving one's ends by deceit or evasion." I have said this from the beginning! Clinton is sly and she knows what to say to play the game the "right" way and get Her own way
    • Wise: 5
      •   Her knowledge of politics and government cannot be questioned. And with that, she represents the traditional, establishment, last-generation political wisdom that many older American's are looking for whether they like her or not.
    • Creative: 1
      •  It just isn't there. All teleprompter, all script, all calculated moves to what she hopes is a checkmate on Trump.
    • Know-it-all: 4
      •  She's a politician agressively running for office. Need I say more?

    Slytherin

    •  Prideful: 2
      •   She definitely has it but I don't think she wears it on her sleeve like Trump. Going back to her cunning above, she knows what to keep on the down-low
    • Ambitious: 5
      •  She is aimed at the White House like an ICBM.
    • Loyal to their own: 5
      •  Can anyone question her deep-rooted loyalty to the Democratic Party? Their leader took the fall for the party's bias and Clinton rewarded her for it.
    • Arrogant: 4
      •   I feel like she, as well as Democrats in general, are much to confident about victory in November. She looks down her nose at Trump and thinks there is just no way he could even compare to her in the general election.

    Final Score:

    Gryffindor:     9/20

    Hufflepuff:    17/20

    Ravenclaw: 15/20

    Slytherin:     16/20

A two point spread between everything except Gryffindor. I would like to get someone else's input on some of these numbers so we can have a more definitive winning house.

    • Dedication: 2
      • I don't know how to justify this one but I feel like it's there in some small capacity
    • Fair-Player:1
      • Ruthless businessman and politician. Plenty hits below-the-belt from his corner
    • Value others' feelings: 1
      • Refer to Fair-play. He is a ruthless, goal-oriented steamroller

    • Wise:1
      • I haven't seen much "wisdom" from Mr Trump that was not cunning in disguise
    • Creative: 2
      • May seem creative for a politician but he is really just applying his businessman strategy to politics like has never been seen before. His book Art of the Deal is literally a road map for every single move he has made thus far
    • Know-it-all: 5
      • To be expected of all politicians. He isn't anything special here, really. Just average (Don't tell him I said that!)

    Slytherin

    •  Prideful: 5
      • Yes. Just, yes.
    • Ambitious: 5
      • Oval office is a big goal to strive for and before that, he had business goals plenty high for himself.
    • Loyal to their own: 2
      • Tight with his family it seems but other politicians and competitors, not so much
    • Arrogant:5
      • "I alone" can save America. Anyone who says that pretty much embodies arrogance.

    Final Score:

    Gryffindor:   13/20

    Ravenclaw: 13/20

    Slytherin:     17/20

Interesting. I would have pegged him as a Gryffindor on face value but I think that was just because of the stigma that all Slytherin house members are greasy-haired rich monsters.

I know there are bound to be comments on this. Light up my inbox everyone. Have at it.

  17. Scotland's independence referendum barely lost before (2014 was it?...). And that was after the EU told them that they would be booted if they left the United Kingdom.

So, even with that threat of being kicked from their much-loved EU hanging over their head like a big axe, they still almost severed ties with the UK. Is there anyone who thinks that a new independence referendum for Scotland, to stay in the EU would lose if it happened today? They can literally have both great things they desire with one popular vote.

I really would like to hear both sides on this issue as well if anyone has more information.
