The new Supreme Commander of the Russian Federation Armed Forces announces:
"We are now undergoing an overhaul of the Russian Armed Forces. In the decades since the dissolution of the United Soviet Socialist Republics, the Russian Federation has seen a dramatic change in policy and placement on the global stage and with eyes elsewhere, the Russian military machine has been rediscovered and found in deplorable condition. We are undergoing change beginning this year. We are going to clean off the rust, oil the machine, full revitalization and we are going to be stronger and more efficient than the Red Army ever was.
The world has entered a new age beginning in 2017 and we wish to confidently walk into the coming years, shoulder-to-shoulder with our allies.'The People for the State; the State for the People!'
Long live Mother Russia! -
Welcome to the Russian Federation's national news board, the "News and Events"
This is the national news thread where all major developments on Mother Russia's place in the world, prowess, and power will be reported. The Leadership of Russia would like to note that this thread is for News only and not discussion. If an ambassador or foreign leader would like to comment on a particular events, one brief comment per nation will be permitted (so as to allow reaction without cluttering the news thread). If any nation has questions or would like to discuss further actions, they are encouraged to contact any of the Russian Federation Leadership or make a new thread in their own national subforum and tag the following leadership:
myself, @Patrick MacFarlane, as well as @Cenna and @Great KahnThe Russian Federation wishes to all a prosperous year and that all your endeavors may succeed.

I really like this, it made my day

The General of the Army of the Russian Federation would like to request a formal explanation of how things such as espionage and random global events (floods, droughts, riots, terrorism, etc.) are going to be handled and integrated into the game.
Is there a non-nation third party that is going to be giving these events at their leisure and handling the espionage requests via PM? That is currently the best way I can think to integrate those things but I would like to here what is already in place before formally proposing my system.

Nice term there @Patriot Girl, I like your style

So you're out? I can delete you from my running log?

I see what you did there. Clever

individual sub-sub-forum for each nation would be best (that way no one would have to limit everything to one thread but you would have to talk to the TKR gov people to make sure that's all ok. I would love the individual sub-forums for each nation to go crazy in, myself

Damn Bhuto, you're just going all out

The General of the Army of the Russian Federation would like to make a proposal.
I propose that every nation have a thread where they post daily updates and their turns. Additionally, important events (those of global importance, not stupid spam) may be copied and pasted into a Global News Centre Thread to serve as the headlines of each turn. This way the RP sub-forum doesn't get crowded with every nations announcements in their own special threads. National threads and a global news thread should streamline the forum and make it easy to find information between turns for all players to keep tabs on each other.
I assume that we would have to get most people to agree to that in order for it to work so, I bring it before the United Nations General Assembly for discussion and possibly a vote.

@Bhuto I really like the turn thing that @John Henry Eden shared from the BK roleplay. (I just simplified it down a little since we're taking this way more chill. Of course, every nation wouldn't have to fill all of this out every trun if they didn't want to I guess if we want to be really lax about this but I am going to be really anal-retentive about the details on this thing so I'll probably be wanted to do it every turn.
Nation Name:
Economics:
- Gross Revenue - Bills and Expenses
- Net Revenue
- Money in the National Bank
Population:
- Population change
- Population this turn (national)
- Total Population (including Colonies)
Research:
- Any ongoing research
Build:
-
List of things your nation is currently building
- place and cost
Action:
-
List what the military units are doing this week(attack, retreat, surveying, transporting, etc.)
- (if applicable) starting location and end location
-
List what non-military movement/action is happening this week
- any details you want to provide
- Remaining Bank Balance this week:
-
GFP is just fun as hell. you can pit nations against each other and do a line-by-line comparison of their militaries

Where's the other Sax people?? come on everyone, get your lives in order!

You were a wrestler?
Three year varsity wrestler in my high school. I qualified for regional competition twice.
Right before my last year of high school wrestling, I dislocated my kneecap and compacted my right wrist. The head coach brought me on as an assistant coach for the new guys (and girls). So, effectively four years of wrestling but only 3 competitive years.
I'm on youtube somewhere wrestling someone my first year on the mats

Ran 3.5 miles in 20 minutes and 33 seconds this morning, then went to school. Came home, played games for an hour, started doing homework.

At my peak (before all the wrestling injuries put my out of sports) I was running about a 6:40-50 mile and about an 19:45-20 minute 5k (around 3.1-3.2 miles or something close to that)

well at least you get sleep. I kinda went overkill with my classes, and don't get much sleep. I've gotten around 4-5 hours nightly during the week since the start of the semester, and can't consume caffeine.
That is me every day mate. I only sleep on the weekends when I refuse to do work and decompress a little. And I have a problem with caffeine too. I just drink about 10 bottles of water a day and the continuous need to pee keeps me just as awake and on edge as caffeine would

I am such a pitiful multitasker. Half of my stuff just goes undone. How I'm passing all my classes? No clue

As the military leader of Russia and a member of the AHA I hope that the leaders of France to kindly note that Russia has not committed a single act of aggression around the world and currently only has free trade and international economic growth measures on the table for discussion.
With the permission of the Foreign Affairs minister of Russia I would like to ask the France to reconsider or refine the first term of the European Federation's cooperation with Algeria. That condition may halt several economic projects planned for the near future in Northern Africa between Algeria and Russia that would help the global economy (desalination and operations to increase arable land among others).
Russia would like to thank @Patriot Girl of the European Federation and @Fanag of Algeria for their time and correspondence.
