I'm on the final stretch of book 7.

Finished book 6. I love the series,  but the gender stereotyping general idiocy is getting on my nerves. Every single character is an asshole, the worse doubly so.

Final stretchof book 5, some reviews suggested it being a boring book till the halfway point. In my opinion it's not boring, one of the best books in this series till now.

They are enjoyable enough, but don't expect the strategic depth of Paradox games.

Either resurrection or spiritform or somesuch. Killing off a character is both wanted and unwanted by the readers so by this you get the best of two worlds.
