Honestly I rarely use bandaids. If I am using one, and it hasn’t fallen off from getting wet, I have to remove it methodically or risk separating/redamaging w/e Im covering.
If you're worried about it re-damaging a wound, use Vaseline or Aquaphor with it.

@Nizam Adrienne how do you make hidden content again?
Using the symbol there. I added one to your OP though, like we had talked about, so if you don't have the eye (I don't think it shows up on mobile), you can use that instead.

I have a dare going with @Opa-Athenalite, encouraged by @Psweet, to read The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. Opa in return will be reading the Mistborn Era 1 series. We'll both be starting with the first books, even though we've already read them, because we sped-read. We'll post our reactions in spoilers with what chapters we're reacting to above them. If you're reading this, hope you enjoy!

Enjoying the book? Tell us what you love! Came across an exciting/shocking part? Don't hold it in! Have questions? Ask away! The world is your oyster.
I'll update this post when we have the date for the VC discussion. In the meantime, if you have anything you want to talk about regarding the novel, go for it!

I know my paternal grandfather had at least 7 siblings and my paternal grandmother had 3 sisters. My maternal I don't really know because I never met them. At least 2, but it sounds like there are a lot more. And maternal grandfather I also don't really know because he's never been a part of either my mom's or my lives, though we've found some of that family recently thanks to Ancestry, so maybe I'll know before long.

What happened to 7-9?

Like how many grandparents do you have? That would definitely be more interesting; if the answer is 4< then explanations are mandatory
Like how many siblings do your grandparents have. Cause mine have so many, I don't even know the true number off hand.

Can we do one of these for grandparents? I feel like that would get exceptionally interesting

When I was 27, I went to go buy a car and the car salesman thought I was 18 and just heading off to college. Granted, I was wearing a college t-shirt and I was with my dad, but nevertheless lol. Usually I think people think I'm 25/26ish at the moment.

Depends. If I'm mooching about outside at home, then it's shirt off and don't use anything. If I'm out and expecting rain then a jacket, and an umbrella lives in the car for all those other unexpected wets. Similar to Florida I guess, when the wet season kicks in here not much keeps you dry except keeping out of the rain all together.
I used to have a routine for when I was a student and had to be out in the rain sometimes to get to classes. I would wear shorts, a raincoat large enough to cover my backpack and my shorts, and rubber flip flops so they dried quickly/could be wiped dry. Worked like a charm. My legs would be wet, but my clothes/shoes wouldn't be, which was ideal since Florida practically insists on keeping buildings at 60, even when it's 80/90 out. Be hot as hell outside, and then inside you need a jacket. If you're wet to boot, you were freezing.

Plus umbrellas are useless unless you’re in pleasantville where rain only falls straight down.
Right? Like shit, I grew up in Florida. It rains sideways there.
Umbrellas are good for when you're not expecting the rain, to have some coverage, but if you know it's coming, raincoat.
