My approach is pretty much the opposite. Watch the first few episodes of a show then decide whether to drop it or continue and finish it*

As for recommendation, I would say a good starting point is to look back on the stuff that was posted here and maybe try out some of the show that me or Micchan gave a high-ish score.

*dunno why but lately I feel like I don't have any motivation to watch stuff, rip backlog. Also I swear the next bit of writeup will be here soon
