To be fair, while I have downloaded music files in the past, I did already own the albums, 8 tracks, cassettes or CD's so really, I did pay for the music.

That's kinda been my approach to piracy in general as well. If I already own it in one format, I don't feel too badly about downloading it in another format.

My first car was a Saab 9-3 with a manual transmission. It was the car I learned to drive in. It was so much fun to drive. I raced my friend in his Lexus with a brand new engine and beat him in that thing and I give the transmission all the credit.

The only manuals I've driven since then were test drives of cars I could not afford and when my dad briefly owned a manual VW Golf. What I wouldn't do to have a manual in my current, fully-paid-off car, but we all have to make little concessions.

The transmission and the turbo made the 9-3 a beast considering the engine it had! I was so sad with GM killed off Saab 😢

  3. I used to be terrible at it until I inherited a stick-shift Saab 9-3. By far the most fun car I've ever owned and it forced me to properly learn how to drive stick-shift beyond what I'd learned in driving school. I drive an automatic now, but when I travel I usually rent a stick-shift because it's cheaper and after a rough first few kilometres my muscle memory kicks in and it's like riding a bike.

  4. I have no idea how many but I know for certain the number is higher than 21. Haven't been to an amusement park in ages but I went quite often as a kid/teen/young adult, and loved roller coasters.

  5. So I'm not sure how to interpret the second option.

If it means that every time I buy something, I would get 50% more of that thing (i.e. buy a car and get an extra 50% of a car), then I would prefer the first option (50% discount on everything I buy).

If it means that every time I earn something, I would get 50% more (i.e. a 50% income bonus), then I would prefer option 2. Seeing as I spend less than I earn, the logical conclusion is that I would benefit more from a 50% increase in my income than a 50% reduction in my expenses.

As I'm sure you're aware the 2 happiest days of boat owners are the day they buy the boat and the day the they sell it. Don't waste your lottery money on a boat, you won't be able to afford it.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I win the lottery 😉

  7. I spend way more time than I care to admit watching yacht walkthrough videos on Youtube. If I won the lottery, a (small) yacht is probably one of the few things I know for sure I'd splurge on, other than wine.

  8. I don't think I've worn a mask since last Summer other than when I went to get my booster shot. If there were signs asking/telling me to I would wear one but around here those signs are pretty much gone now.

  9. Eggs are delicious in almost every way you can cook them.

    • As part of a breakfast plate? Fried.
    • In a salad or a meal-style soup? Boiled and sliced.
    • Eggs benedict? Poached.
    • Pad thai or similar? Scrambled.
    • As a meal? Omelette.
