  1. We could also declare for example one of the Greek Isles to be the 'Common Heritage of Mankind' like the Antarctic and Space are and do the same with wherever they decide to hold the Winter Olympics. That way the Olympics are a celebration of Global Unity and Athletic prowess rather than a political prop. If we do it that way, each country would get to represent a part of its heritage during the Opening Ceremony and then all nations would be recognized for their contributions to the betterment of humanity, however small and no matter what negatives they are outweighed by. In a way, where the Olympics are held would kinda be like Washington DC; while they are inside a state(country), they are governed by all who hold an interest in the Olympics. While DC needs reprentation in Congress, the countries impacted by hosting the Olympics near where their country is would already have representatives because they participate in the games.

I like that it moves around, it provides motivation and stimulation to multiple nation's economies. Even if for a short time. And it normally goes well. Unless we're talking about Sochi, Russia. That was a disaster! Communism at its finest!

First of all, usually, it hurts a countries economy more than it helps it because the IOC gets most of the money. Second, that's the problem, no one is willing to host the Olympics except countries that need the political propaganda like Russia. For the next winter games, we are down to either Mongolia or China as our host, because all other countries dropped out. They are a huge tax on the economy and the governments resources that would be better spent on projects that will actually benefit the citizens for more than two weeks.

  3. ^Same. I think they should establish a permanent home for the olypics. Like hold the summer ones on a Greek Isle and the winter ones in Canada or one of the Nordic Countries. That way individual countries don't have to pour massive amounts of money into a stadium which they'll use once and be done with. If there is one permanent location, countries can come together with the IOC to build and maintain up to date infrastructure at a lower cost.

  4. Its pretty widely used. I used it for a while until I found Reddit. The advantage of iFunny is that it distills a lot of the crap thrown around on the Internet into 40-60 pics per day with top two comments on each pic. It's not as time consuming as some other services.

  5. By worst case I don't mean just him getting elected, I mean the worst possible outcome. My idea would be that along with Trump, a tea party wave sweeps the country and Trump is like FDR in that Congress is basically his puppet. He messes up the economy, foreign relations, and politics and doesn't give up the presidency, the US falls into a state of civil war between the South and Mid-West who support Trump and the West and North East who are against him. The divides are never able to heal and we are left with 3 nations: East USA the Confederacy, and West USA.

It would be a series of polls. Limit 3 entries per person. Finally, all memes that are from the same roots (ex all bad luck Brian memes) would have to play in so the BLB memes would compete against each other until one BLB meme is chosen as the best BLB meme. It would then be put into the bracket. So, there is a slight bonus for obscurity, but the judging is done by the masses.

Finally, everyone will have plenty of time to create and curate memes, as the tournament will be in July. This is because I leave to where I may not have internet access on the 15th of June and get back on the 9th of July. Send the memes you want entered in the tournament to me before July 13th and I will put them into the bracket. I will have polls that I create and leave with someone to post while I am gone, so don't you worry.
