  1. Algeria remains a committed member of the Arab League as a state with a large Arab population and Arab culture being a large part of our history and who we are today. While we are not concerned with the foreign relations of the EF and Turkey, we cannot approve of limited our diplomatic options in the name of trade.

  2. Trump will put in some nasty people like Gingrich and Guiliani in power, but he'll ultimately be far less conservative than the Republicans want and he's going to fight Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell all the way. He'll likely be able to choose two new justices in his term as well. We'll probably see the Democrats choose Keith Ellison to the DNC chair and see them pursue far more progressive policies and candidates in a move to the left similar to how Jeremy Corbyn rose up after Labour got their asses kicked in Britain.

  3. The People's Democratic Republic of Algeria would like to work with the European Federation on bilateral ties between the EF and the Algerian government that would include increased economic ties and trade as well as possible military developments such as joint training exercises in Europe with Algerian participation in the name of increased friendly ties with Europe as well as to further develop decreased tariffs between Algeria and the EF. Furthermore, the Algerian government would like clarificaiton of the European Federation's position on the developments occurring in Southern Asia.

India warns Algeria that it is better for them to stay out of this conflict otherwise we will need to activate our MDAP bloc treaty with Russia and Sino Republic

The Algerian leadership expressed concern on National media regarding threats of war against Algeria for speaking out against aggression. It is highly likely the Algerian delegation at the United Nations will issue a protest and demand that military actions be halted and the territorial integrity of these countries be respected as Indian military forces invade. A clear statement was made directly against the Indian government after its attempt to strong-arm the Algerian government for voicing its disapproval.

"The Indian government has launched an unjustified attack on her neighbors. Its response to voices of dissent has led to an immediate declaration that they'll declare war on our nation alongside their allies. We worry the imperialists in the Indian government will attempt to convince other states to support its aggression and hope that India's allies and partners can talk them down and encourage dialogue and a peaceful resolution to these conflicts. United Nations should mediate a peace and halt these blatant acts of aggression. We will continue to defend the rights of these nations right to self-governance and self-determination for their people. We will do nothing to support aggression against another state's right to govern themselves. Our stance is clear just as we do not recognize Morrocan occupation of the Sahrawi Arab Republic."

  5. The government of Algeria made a statement on the aggressive maneuvers by the Indian state earlier today. It strongly condemned the violation of the sovereignty of three countries with no justification. The Algerian leadership has urged major powers across the world to condemn these actions and act to prevent imperialist action and to protect the sovereignty of middle and small powers from the aggression and ambition of would-be empires. Air strikes in Nepal were condemned as numerous civilian casualties were reported by local media as result of military actions taking place. As a result of these declarations the Algerian ambassador to India is recalled for 'consultations' in a sign of protest. Media sources speculate it'll likely be in contact with both the French and Russian governments on the sudden conflict that has arisen from Indian aggression.

  6. The French Wars of religion are drawing to a close with the Huguenots victorious in part thanks to the timely aid of the English Monarchy. The last few remaining Papist holdouts are being removed.

  7. Nation Name: Algeria

    Description

The largest country in Africa with its capital held at the ancient port city of Algiers. Algeria is a country that received its independence from France in the Algerian War of Independence. its country is largest covered by the Sahara Desert with the Atlas Mountains leading to a more temperate, Mediterranean climate to the north. It is known for its strong and fierce protection of its sovereignty from foreign actors. This has occasionally led to cold ties with other states seeking to cooperate with the authoritarian government that runs the country which has fought a low-intensity conflict against Islamist rebels for decades.

  8. The largest company in Africa announced plans to increase investment to desalination plants along the coast of Algeria. The company operates as the country's largest company and one of the largest consortiums in the world that controlled some of the largest pipelines operating on the African continent. Furthermore, its increased investments in hydrocarbons has come as a result of a government initiative that seeks to diversify the energy needs of Algeria. It is speculated that foreign governments, Russia in particular, has been in talks with the government regarding the sale of petrol and crude oil. In recent years, the company has opened up to foreign investment and joint ventures with international oil giants to aid in oil exploitation and creation of new pipelines.

  9. I tried it out, but I haven't really had much interest in card games these days. I know a few of my friends back in my hometown recently went back into MTG and they love it.

  10. Less than 8 minutes is pretty good! I believe I was told when I was a high school freshman 8 minutes was the average speed we needed to run with about half doing slightly better, most were around the 9-10 minute mark at the beginning. At my peak my fastest mile was 6 minutes 30 seconds all out without additional miles while the best runners in the Cross Country/Track team could run a 4 and a half minute mile going all out. Keep it up!

Today I slept in(had sleeping issues as of late), missed a class, re-stocked on groceries, and voted in the US Presidential election via early voting. Did some planning on a Public Opinion Polling course for a survey regarding Gun Rights/Gun Control geared towards interviewing conservative or Republican voting age persons.

  11. I would honestly say newer players should play stronger countries since it's more forgiving of failure. Even taking one unlawful province in the HRE land you with -120 relations with other HRE states and can get you an easy rolling. It's not newb friendly by any means. If we have major powers as players, I would just put a basic rule of Great Powers not to ally each other or at most one other great power ally.

A few good middle powers that aren't in too bad a position outside the HRE in European/North Africa/Mideast include: Portugal, Oman, Ethiopia, Hungary, Tunisia, Hejaz, Morocco, and Scotland. Inside the HRE some good choices for middle/small powers Brandenburg (the classic), Bohemia, Hanseatic League, Palatinate, Bavaria, Switzerland, and Hesse.

I'd recommend Castile and Ottomans for those completely new.

I don't have Mare Nostrum but the changes makes the Barbary States of North Africa pretty appealing to me.

  12. My state is easily going to vote Trump, so I'm voting Johnson just to help a third party reach 5% for public funding I'd like to see the Green Party also reach that point and one day change our election laws. I'm definitely an idealist. I don't particularly like Clinton, but her positions are vastly superior to Donald Trump's even if. The Republican platform is awful with some weird exception in that they want to re-instate Glass-Steagall. That is probably the only part of the platform I agree with on the Republicans' side. My family traditionally votes Republican but ever since the Tea Party took over it's been increasingly difficult for Republicans who vote Republican for economic issues to support the conservative right politicians that have taken over the party and have pushed away mainstream republicans by calling them 'RINOs' for not being on their side on abortion or same-sex marriage. If the Republican party focused on the economy and wasn't so paternalistic over social issues they would be a viable party again.

I'm not voting Johnson because I think he's good. In fact, I love to call him Dr. Aleppo because of his hilarious foreign policy mishaps. Down ballot I'll be voting for Democrats. I voted for Sanders in the primaries alongside others who identify as Republicans who felt astonished about what the hell happened to the GOP in the past decade. People who voted for McCain or Romney in the past. The political scientist in me really wants to see a political realignment following the election and we might see it if the Republicans heavily lose this election.

Also, I love that you included Evan McMullin but not Darrell Castle. Get rekted Constitution Party.

  13. Sure, I used to play religiously but the changes began to annoy and bother me over time. When the AI would constantly have Bohemia or Austria ally Ottomans and crush everyone it got ridiculous and silly.
