individual sub-sub-forum for each nation would be best (that way no one would have to limit everything to one thread but you would have to talk to the TKR gov people to make sure that's all ok. I would love the individual sub-forums for each nation to go crazy in, myself

Yes we are waiting for all the factbooks to be submitted and from that count we will go to IC

I propose that every nation have a thread where they post daily updates and their turns.  Additionally, important events (those of global importance, not stupid spam) may be copied and pasted into a Global News Centre Thread to serve as the headlines of each turn. This way the RP sub-forum doesn't get crowded with every nations announcements in their own special threads. National threads and a global news thread should streamline the forum and make it easy to find information between turns for all players to keep tabs on each other.

I assume that we would have to get most people to agree to that in order for it to work so, I bring it before the United Nations General Assembly for discussion and possibly a vote.

Basically I am also thinking about to make a distinct forum for each nation where they can post their stuffs. And yes this issue is included in the discussion topic for UNGA

  6. well I need some time to think about it like at first I want all factbooks uploaded and then we have some plan after that I can try to use it but as I said it will need some time our RP is still going through the starting phase. Once it is started I will create a different thread for suggestions.

  7. 3 minutes ago, Yiczy said:

Ireland and all of sub-Saharan Africa and the once ottoman empire are all broken a nation that must be INTEGRATED!

I am a rich nation and would like to send money instead of lives for the peacekeeping missions.

Okay so how much money you can send?

Also to do any military action it must be passed through both UNGA and UNSC so if you want any military action against any reason post it

here with some valid reason and wait for it to be accepted / rejected.

    3 hours ago, Rook said:

What's the benefit of sending troops/ money?

Also it reduces chances of a huge war breakout.

  8. So this is the thread to have the discussion topic of UNGA on 30/10/2016

    1. What will be the Placement of UN.

    2. Who will be secretary of UN .

3.TGR would like to refute claims of causing terrorism in Ireland.

    4.

The General of the Army of the Russian Federation would like to make a proposal.

"I propose that every nation have a thread where they post daily updates and their turns.  Additionally, important events (those of global importance, not stupid spam) may be copied and pasted into a Global News Centre Thread to serve as the headlines of each turn. This way the RP sub-forum doesn't get crowded with every nations announcements in their own special threads. National threads and a global news thread should streamline the forum and make it easy to find information between turns for all players to keep tabs on each other."

    5. This is a proposal of India
" We want to stop the spread of nuclear bomb technology any further to achieve that we will like to have a discussion on UNGA and will like to know the views of other nations"

if you feel that there is any other question worth to be listed post here but don't spam and one member can ask only one question in UN if it is not an emergency. So don't ask silly questions.

  9. So let's get straight into the main thing anyone can approach me for any defence deal proposal or economic proposal.
I am willing to sign ODP-NAP or MDP at this moment
Or for economic deal anything worth 100 billion or more can be invested and it will have an impact of almost 110 billion for the investing nation Also for more high level investment I will reduce the 20% tax rate to 10% so  500 billion investment will have an impact of 600-750 billion depending on the industry.

Now some may ask what I meant by impact of  110 billion USD
So the things goes like this take an example of some steel mill. Let it produced 100 unit of steel in exchange of 100 billion if it is in USA (say) but now it will produce 110 unit of steel in India (Because of less labour cost). So it will increase the productivity of the investor and GDP and GDP per capita for the previous nation.

This is a good plan to grow third world countries rapidly

  10. After thinking for Some time I have decided that 1 month in real life= 1 year in RP will be a better fit so everyone we are moving to 1 month= 1 year setting.

Today is End of 2016 according to RP time.
and 1st nov. will be 1 st jan. 2017

Hope that this setting will bring some speed to the game we may decide to drop the speed if needed but surely update all of you about that.

  11. make-in-india-s.jpg

Indian leadership feels it is the best time to grow infrastructure level and GDP per capita of the country so to achieve this we request all top nations of the world to invest in India any thing made in India will have 10% less price than the average world price because of the over population of India we request @Sargun (USA) , @emperorpenguin and @Rook (China) and all the nation leaders to join this summit from this summit probably India will sign some defence deal also.

    Thank you,
    Bhuto,

    President of India

Expected time of first flight : Mid of 2017
Expected time for commissioning into service: Start of 2018

Total Money invested = 5+10 billion = 15 billion USD
So Project Budget left= 200-15 billion USD = 185 billion USD.

  14. So this is the thread for UNSC and UNSC meeting will held once in a IRL month any day we all prefer (UNSC current member) and  also We need all members start contributing for UN army ( it may be monetary or may be giving some personnel).
Our Target must be to make UN army stronger than any arny of the world.

Clearly As I am from India and my economy is not good so I can't send any money so I am sending 500,000 personnel for UN.

  15. So this is the thread for UNGA discussions so at first I will like to know what is the most preferable position for UNGA to function?

    I have a few choice
    Let's have a vote.

Also Please start nominating members for UNGA chairman Post Anyone will need atleast 3  person to nominate him/her apart from himself and then we will go for a vote.

  16. 85px-Emblem_of_the_United_Nations.svg.png

The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization to promote international co-operation.
In this RP United Nations every country will get automatic seat in UNGA (United Nation General Assembly) as soon as they complete their registration process.
Functioning of this UN is slightly different compared to the Real life one.

Here it is divided into Two parts
    a. Upper house (United Nation Security Council)
    b. Lower House (UNGA)

Presently member of Upper house or UNSC are USA , China , India , Sweden , Thailand.
And members of lower tier are all present member of this RP.

How to pass / create new international law through UN-
Now to create any new law or impose any sanction or sending UN army there must be an election and if 2/3 of the UNGA votes for the law then it will go to UNSC and if and only iff all members of UNSC agrees to the law then the law will be passed. And will start functioning just after passing the law. (voting time will be 36 hours IRL for both the assemblies)

How to become a member of UNSC -

To become a member of UNSC the nation will need to apply in the UNGA and if it gets 5/6 th majority only then his application will go to UNSC and then it needs 100% majority in UNSC only then it can become a member of UNSC.

    What UN can really do??

Well it can impose sanction and can sent peace keeping army in a war and also can take action against human rights violation.

Time of UN meetings : UN can hold emergency meeting at any time if any of it's member states wants
But in general there will be a meeting in each sunday discussing several matters.
